Drayton Mills – Lofts and Marketplace

Drayton Mills Lofts and Marketplace are part of a thriving, mixed-use development that transformed an historic textile mill into one of Spartanburg’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

Montgomery Development Group was a key partner in the transformation of the 113-year-old historic textile mills known as Drayton Mills into the new Drayton Mills community. We were able to utilize an historic tax credit deal to help develop this property into the thriving Drayton Mills Lofts and Marketplace. The Drayton Lofts, a $50-million mixed-use development, included building 289 luxury apartments, a range of high-end residential amenities, and the planning and building of a multi-use community trail. Drayton Mills also includes the Marketplace, a $10-million project in which Montgomery Development Group led efforts to attract a diverse portfolio of national retailers, boutique shops and eateries.
